The Western Riverside County Regional Wastewater Authority (WRCRWA) Treatment Plant team is committed to tracking and measuring odors on a regular basis in an effort to better understand and minimize them.

When the WRCRWA call center receives an odor, the call center assistant will ask the caller for information to attempt to identify the source. IF the odor is taking place at that time, our staff will investigate by going to the affected area and checking for possible odor causes. When odor is determined to be coming from a WRCRWA source, changes are made to correct the problem.

The WRCRWA team is sensitive to odor the community’s concerns and are committed to addressing odor complaints in a timely manner.
